We are sad to announce that the Steamroller Printmaking Event is cancelled for 2026. We looked for an alternate location for the event due to the City of Creede's Main Street sidewalk work, which is slated to begin this fall. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful in securing a viable location. We are looking at the possibility of setting up an area to sell previous years' prints on September 19th. We will let you know as plans progress.
CAC will be hosting an Steamroller Print Sale at CMAC HQ during the Crusin' the Canyon Car Show on Saturday, September 19th from 10am to 3 pm. Stop by to snag original, limited-edition prints from previous years' events and support our local artists.
Save your print design ideas! We are looking forward to resuming the Steamroller Printmaking Event in 2027. We are already planning expanded options for its return—not only printing designs on the usual Tyvek material, but formally focusing on designs to be printed on clothing and other materials.
In the meantime, the Arts Council has an alternative exhibit in the works for this winter that we think the community will find exciting. Watch social media and your email for details. We will offer more information as soon as we have it.
