2026 Silver Thread Studio Tour: August 15, 2026 • 9am - 5pm
Enjoy a self-guided tour of local artist studios and gallery spaces!
The Silver Thread Studio Tour is a self-guided driving tour of artist studios along the beautiful Silver Thread Scenic Byway surrounded by the Rio Grande National Forest. Artist’s studios are located from South Fork through historic Creede, and along the route towards The Studios at Bristol. Enjoy a beautiful drive through the mountains and the incredible range of artistic talent in our area. Local artists will welcome you into their home studios and galleries where they will answer questions, share techniques, perform demonstrations, and showcase a variety of works available for purchase. The Creede Musical Arts Collective will be performing pop-up concerts along the Studio Tour route–their schedule will be released before August 15th.
The 2026 Studio Tour Map Brochure will be downloadable or available at the Creede and South Fork Visitor Centers the week before the tour.
The free tour this year includes a record 25 artists.
