Creede Arts Council

The Creede Arts Council is enthusiastically preparing for the 10^th Annual Silver Thread Studio Tour. This year, it will take place Saturday, September 7th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. This is a self-guided driving tour along the Silver Thread Scenic Byway.

The CAC is committed to this event as it both supports our many talented local artists and serves to expand the tourist season, which benefits the communities of Creede and South Fork. We actively market the event through brochures, press releases and invitations. We also coordinate signage and community involvement in Creede and South Fork. In order to increase our marketing to a broader area with paid advertising, banners and brochures, we are seeking sponsorships from patrons and businesses (see below).

Entries and fees are due no later than June 10th, 2013.

The map brochure is now available in hard copy form. They will be available within the next few days at the South Fork Visitor’s Center and the Creede Chamber office.

As soon as the Studio Tour maps are completed, they will be available around the area.

AND, as an added bonus, it will also be available here in Adobe pdf format, so that you may print one for yourself just before the tour occurs (in case you didn’t get one before, or in case you did get one and misplaced it, or in case you simply need a more convenient method of obtaining a map).

We should be able to post a pdf as soon as they have been designed and include all of the late entries, hopefully around August 8th or sooner.

Note that the hard-copy version of the map will be available around the middle of August, or about 10 days after the pdf version is given to us.
