In late Spring, Summer, and Early Fall, Creede is home to a variety of fine or fun eating establishments, numerous cultural events like the National Small Print Show, the Creede Sculpture Show, and a varied selection of special events like the Balloon Festival and several athletic events. In late Fall and Winter, hunting, snow mobiling, and cross country skiing dominate the scene. The Creede Variety Show happens in early March, and things start to ramp up in April, with various "Calls for Entries" and deadlines announced by the Creede Arts Council.
